Mooring whips are used to hold the boat away from a wharf or pontoon, they prevent waves from making the boat bump into the dock.
They can also be used to prevent a tender (small boat) from hitting the larger mothership boat when at anchor.
Mooring Whip Kits must be matched to the appropriate boat size.
